Kathryn earned her BFA at Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts. She is a self-employed artist and educator. Kathryn has also worked closely with Enkaustikos since 2004. Over the years she has traveled extensively throughout the US, Canada and Ireland to provide learning opportunities in a variety of arenas, including extended workshops, trades shows and conferences, I.E.A EncaustiCon, EncaustiCamp, Rochester Institute of Technology, College Art Association, The International Encaustic Conference, Savannah College of Art and Design, and nationwide Art Expositions. In addition, she developed over 60 custom and specialty paint colors for the Enkaustikos line, including specific paints for her two sets: The Power of Gray and The Kathryn Bevier Collection. Kathryn offers ongoing workshops in her private ArtWorks Studio and is very active in the local Rochester arts community through her involvement with many arts organizations, local colleges and public schools. She is a featured artist in Encaustic Revelation by Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch, published by Northlight Books, © 2014 and in Enkaustik by Ursi Lysser, published 2022.
