I'm A Mixed Media Artist, What Types of Products Can I Use In Combination With Encaustic?
Mixed media artists can explore using a variety products with encaustic. Paint sticks, graphite, pastels, oil pastels, and oil bars are a few examples that you can use on top of encaustic paintings to create unique looks. You can also collage with encaustic by taking objects like Japanese papers, origami, gold leaf, newsprint, photographs, plant materials on your painting by encapsulating them in wax medium.
